>>> The method behind my design process.
Design Theory
I govern my design aesthetic and process under the harmony of: PRINCIPLE - PURPOSE - PATTERN
PRINCIPLE is the guideline for how to arrange visual elements. PURPOSE is the core goal or message the design is trying to express. PATTERN is the repeating unit that creates visual rhythm, unity, and structure, transforming the plain into something engaging.
PRINCIPLE + PATTERN = something that is enticing. PRINCIPLE + PURPOSE = a snooze fest. PATTERN + PURPOSE = something that is conceptual. Add a little chaos to a conceptual design and you just might be pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
PARADISE resides smack dab in the middle of Principle, Pattern & Purpose.

My Process
It’s hard to figure out where to start when you are looking for a good, affordable designer, especially if you are a small business wanting to build your brand. I can work with you to create a solution that looks great, resonates YOU and your business, and helps your business to grow. I am super excited to help creative small businesses like photographers, boutiques, shops, designers, & restaurants showcase your business and promote your business by creating websites and graphics that actually work for you. Your website and graphic design needs should connect with the right people, feel authentic, and add to your business instead of take away from it.
I like to think that I am different than a lot of other designers because I am focused on customer service, and I like to get to know you first, then ask a lot of questions so that I can know your thoughts, your ideas, your vision, your aesthetic, and what it is you are needing. Your time is valuable and it is my promise to maintain constant communication and be completely transparent. Every client needs something different and unique, and I am more than glad to help you.
Step 1: Consultation
If you are local, lets grab a drink and meet up to chat. If you are not, I can reach out to you and we can chat over the phone or via zoom, etc. This will be the time for you to share everything with me about your specific vision. I will ask a lot of questions so that I get all the information that I need to bring your vision to life.
Step 2: Construction
After chatting with you, I will get to work with the actual design process. I will keep you updated every step of the way. I will be communicating with you a lot and rigorous design, re-design, development, front end & back end work, troubleshooting, and editing will be taking place during this step.
Step 3: Refinement
During this last step, I go through everything with a fine tooth comb, making sure all the fine details are flawless. After getting your final stamp approval before turning your project over to you, I will also help train you so that if your website needs any updates, you will not be left completely in the dark after successful go live.
